From a single English speaking school in 1971 to a globally trusted language institution — BSL’s story is one of continuous evolution and international reach.

1971
BSL founded as a specialist English speaking school. The flagship programme — covering all four language skills plus a 12-week Personality Development course — is established from day one.
1985
Language portfolio extended to 12 foreign languages using the CEFR A1–C2 framework. French, German, and Spanish lead; Mandarin, Japanese, Arabic, Korean and others added progressively.
2003
Corporate language training division established. BSL begins serving MNCs, BPOs, schools, and corporates — becoming a preferred partner for organisational language development.
2005
Specialist exam preparation for IELTS, PTE, and OET launched. Study Abroad consulting, Canada PR coaching, and Australian Skilled Migration services introduced.
2009
ESL, TESOL, and TEFL professional teaching certifications added. QR-based digital verification introduced for all BSL completion certificates.
